As years went by and a lot of nations formed around the borders of the country whilst The Austro-Hungarian empire was it large the Industrial Revolution hit the country. The face of Budapest as you can see it today was primarily born in this era. If you walk along the streets of Budapest today there is a piece of history in almost every building and in almost any place you travel thanks to the rich historic background.
